Can you also check this on another machine? That way we can figure out if it is the file (if it is an issue on both machines) or Archicad on your machine (if it opens fine on the other machine).

hi everyone, i'm relativly new to ArchiCAD but now i'm experiencing an issue where i can't open any files. The start menu opens up fine but as soon as i press "new", "open" or try to open a recent poroject it doesnt do anything. The cursor starts loading and it takes around ten to twenty minutes until the file starts opening. In the taskmanager the process "Archicad starter" goes inactive.

My setup: HP OMEN Lapton with 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12500H / NVIDIA Geforce 3050 LaptopGPU, Operating System is Windows 11

Things I've already tried:

Reinstalled ArchiCAD, Reset PC entirely, reset and updated all graphic and processor drivers, checked firewall (ArchCAD is not restriced or something), deactived firewall to be sure (still same issue), booted in safe mode and clean boot (still same issue).

I'm running out of ideas and would be grateful if somebody either is experiencing the same issue or may have an idea what else could cause that.

Any help is welcome:)

Operating system used: Windows 11

Which Archicad version are you using?

What kind of license?

Are you using the 3050 GPU or the internal one?

Yes I did check on another laptop where it worked fine, so it's definitely a me-problem😅
