How is this feature implimented? It is only working on one computer...

In order to make identifying which AC version to use easier, I used the "Project Preview" function.

Project Preview image serves as the icon for the project file in Windows Explorer, replacing the standard ARCHICAD icon.

This has worked fine on Computer 1 with the file icon changing to what I defined within the program:

On my other computers though, only the default icon is shown...

The Advanced Settings under Folder Options is identical between computers.
"Show Thumbnails instead of Icons" under Performance Settings is checked.

Computer 1 & 2 use Win11 24H2 and computer 3 Win11 23H2.

In your current Archicad Program Folder, look for this file and run it.

You may need to restart your machine.

It should reset Archicad to use the default icons, and if you have added a custom file preview, it should use that.

Hm... wonder why AC did not register when I installed it on the newest machine... Thanks Barry.

In my experience it's all fine when you have only one AC installed. As soon you install another version everything goes horribly wrong. Barry showed the "brute force" method to have a somewhat clean start.

Not sure if its on GS or Microsoft tho 😄
