AC9 US - NCS files Beta?

I received 9 today, installed and started opening the example files to look around. When I tried opening the sample NCS files (Goodies/NCS for ArchiCAD/Plotmaker Files NCS/LBK) in Plotmaker it says they were last saved by an early Beta version and must be reopened in the last Beta version. Same thing for the AC files (v. 8.185) Seems like a bit of an oversight on Graphisoft's part.

Does anyone know if they are the same as the AC 8 files?

Looks like you're right. Bummer!

GS will have to convert them and make them available to the user base, I guess.

I tried opening the NCS plotmaker lbk and...
I got my first AC9 crash!
It generated a bug report that sent itself in

and on the windows side we now have a red with black spotted bug.

I tried it again and got an error message per Alex re created by beta versionn

This can be solved by finding a Beta tester in geographical or email vicinity; the PreRelease can open the Beta files, and is saving the final version files.

Dear ArchiTalkers,

Thank you for reporting this problem. The ArchiCAD and PlotMaker files in the "Goodies/NCS for ArchiCAD" folder were accidentally left in beta format in the final ArchiCAD 9 US version. Opening these files results an error message, but otherwise no harm is done.

We will upload the final ArchiCAD 9 format files today on the US library update website: http://www.graphisoft.com/support/archicad/downloads/library_updates/usa.html

This link is also available from the “Help” menu of the US version by clicking on the “Check for Latest Library…” command.

Please delete the complete "NCS for ArchiCAD" folder from your "Goodies" folder and replace it with the one that you download from the library update site.

bugs are not cool but that bug reporter looks great! i just hope to not see it often.
