Archciad 25 MacOS - no Graphisoft-ID Sign-In possible anymore?

Hello,

we are currently using Archicad 25, both Solo and Teamwork, on 10 Mac-OS Workstations (MacOS 10.15-MacOS 13) in our office.

Last week, Archicad on one of the computers asked for a login using the Graphisoft ID. However, the login window is just a white screen, making it impossible to log in. As a result, we can no longer use Archicad 25 on this computer.

Since we would like to continue using version 25 for a while, I did some troubleshooting and called support. Unfortunately, support is not interested in issues related to outdated Archicad versions.

The result: the login screen for Graphisoft remains white on multiple systems. The sign-in option in the start window is greyed out and cannot be clicked. It seems that Archicad has made some changes regarding online access.

Does anyone have a tip? Is anyone else still using 25 on a Mac?

There was a change to the licensing whereby the software and perpetual licenses are locked down to Archicad 25 when changing to Collaborate (and Studio I think). From 26 onwards Archicad uses the cloud based licenses and also still works with the software and codemeter key based dongles.

Have you installed all the latest hot fixes and updates for Archicad 25 and also the latest updates for License Manager?

Thank you very much for your answer!

We run Archicad 25, Update 7000 which is the latest and installed the latest licence Manager.

The problem is not the licence, which works.

It is the mandatory Login by Graphisoft-ID, which acts as a second security check. Before Version 25 it has been optional to sign-in.

For the sign-in a window is an application-window with browser-content is opened. That stoped working.

Have you tried clearing your cookies?

Check to see if you have cookies disabled. Enable them if you have.

We have encountered somthening similar too, the problem was old version of macOS and incomatibility with new certificates on graphisoft websites.
here is a solution.

To import the trusted certificate, follow the steps below:

1. Download the Certificate here

2. Open Keychain Access

Open Applications → Utilities → Keychain Access
Or use Spotlight (⌘ + Space) and type “Keychain Access”

3. Import the Certificate

You have two options:
Option A:

Simply drag and drop the .crt or .pem file into the Keychain Access window.

Option B:

In Keychain Access, go to File → Import Items...
Select the downloaded certificate file.

When prompted, choose the System keychain (not Login).

4. Trust the Certificate

Once imported:

Locate the certificate (search “Sectigo” in the search bar).
Double-click it to open its details.
Expand the Trust section.
Set “When using this certificate” → “Always Trust”.
Close the window.
Enter your administrator password to confirm.

5. Restart Safari (or your Mac)

After doing this:

Quit Safari completely.
Reopen it and revisit the site (e.g., https://idproxy.graphisoft.com).

The warning should now disappear if everything was installed correctly.

your Tip worked! Thank you so much, it is pure gold.

Sidenote: It did not work in MacOS 10.15 but in MacOS 13, which is sufficient for us.
