Installing Archicad fails (failed to initialize properly)

Hi,

I´m trying to install Archicad 9 but at the end of the application I get this error message: "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application."

Please help me.

Please give a little more info, such as system, hardware, etc. An install error such as this does not sound like an ArchiCAD problem unless the installer itself is damaged.

We are having a similar problem in one of our office computers.

The System configuration is

P4 CPu 3.00 Ghz with 1.24 GB RAM running on Windows XP Service Pack 2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Administrator rights?

User that is starting Archicad does not have administrator/power user rights?

Java OK?

Quick Time OK?
