AC28 extremely laggy when in MacOS dark mode

Anyone else been having problems with extreme lag after any / every command when dark mode is enabled? Think I started to notice it after upgrading to Tahoe 26.2. Not just a minor annoyance either - AC is basically unusable when system appearance is activated into dark mode. For those of us who work nights it can be a real strain to stare into a bright screen for hours but it's the only way to use the program now.

AC slower than ever... since AC26
...
my suggestion, don't update to 29... if 28 is slow for you, it only gets worse

I have noticed this yes. Every click has a 1-2 second delay. I’ve mostly migrated to 29 which doesn’t seem to exhibit the same issue.
