I was informed earlier today about a patch to bring me up to version 8.2.

The Mac version for USA downloads ok, unpacks ok, but the install states I do not have the right language installed.

Is the version I have non-upgradable, or do I have to install the international version?

What is the correct procedure.

Thanks

I don't see why not? It is only a licensing issue that makes the difference... There are a few of us at UTA who have the Mac version installed and are having problems mainly with Plotmaker, and some with ArchiCAD.

Most architects in the area who are using ArchiCAD won't really help until we get patched up and then see if we are having problems.

Thanks

It's not only a licensing issue. The student version is different software. The executable is not the same as the regular ArchiCAD. So patches can't work in the same way. Remember that a student version saves into a different file format and has certain limitations. This is compiled into the software.
