TEAMWORK

Hi all.

I have recently set up team work successfully over a wireless internal network - It was brilliant.

I have installed a model on to a remote FTP to be accessed by members of the team in the office. We can open the model on our PCs but cannot edit.

Do we need to be hosting the model on a PC which is running a copy of ArchiCAD to run teamwork??

Each member of a teamwork project need to have access to the original place of the project, not through FTP because of the "Sign in" procedure. Or else you have to make a collegue sign in and save out a draft-file and send to you (not recommend).

So a VPN-tunneling is to recommend if you not sit at same office, you need directaccess to the directory/drive where the teamwork file are.
