<T>Hi,

I am making this thread on behalf of a friend of mine whos just started with structural engineering.

For his studies, he got a Thinkpad T60p. Core 2 duo and equipped with a FireGL V5250, which should be great for CAD work.

However, when he tried to enter the perspective mode and watch his model in 3D, a box with an OpenGL error pops up.

I've googled around, and as far as I can tell the problem is that there are no archicad certified drivers for his specific card when running Vista.

Is this true? Or am I missing out on any speciel drivers/settings and/or tweaks?

Thanks, Pete</T>

I don't know about his specific setup, but there are LOTS of problems with Vista from what I hear (and see). Switching to XP might fix it.
