<R>Hello I recently heard of Nvidias new SLI Support for graphic cards and think I might upgrade my PC with two cards in SLI mode. Since ArchiCAD is one of my regular CAD programs I wanted to know if its supported by ArchiCAD and what kind of performance gain I can expect from this new technology? Or is it just for gamers?

What do you think? </R>

Well I was thinking about using two Nvidia Quadro 1400 PCI X in SLI, but is it worth buy two cards in terms of its performance? I know that I won't get the same performance if the software doesn't support it. In fact it would like using only one card!

Shouldn't the SLI cards work regardless of the software. Isn't the driver programmed to split the screen into two (albeit optimized) parts. When I read about it it last year the gamers suggested that it was smart enough to know what part of the screen was chnaging (motion, rendering, etc.) and which part was relatively static.
