No reason AFAIK why it should not; watch out for the protection key and the parallel port mode, that might be the problem (the port may be too fast).

Settings are in your computer's BIOS. Look at your startup screen to see what key you need to press to get into the BIOS setup during bootup ... probably either F2 or DEL.
