I know this sounds crazy, but what layer is your scanned image on? I have seen some strange behavior (with regard to PDF output) if the image is on the Archicad layer.

<T>Greetings,

Scanned images placed into ArchiCAD or PlotMaker plot in different location. The type of file seems to make no difference. tif, wmf, jpeg no difference.

Example of what I am trying to do 1) Add scanned site plan to ArchiCAD. 2) Draw a line of a known dimension, in this case a 40' setback line. 3) Resize drawing to scale. 4) Make my changes to plan primarily by drawing lines and fills over the scanned image. 5) Set up for plotting. 6) Merge in to PlotMaker book in the lower left-hand quadrant (picture drawing divided in to 4 quadrants). 7) Every thing is how I want it so we plot. The resulting plot has the scanned image upside down in the upper left hand quadrant with all the line work I added in ArchiCAD in the lower left hand quadrant just as I wanted.</T>

Hi there,
What version of ArchiCAD are you using?

Cheers.
I had my fingers crossed but changing the layer did not make any difference. Thanks for the suggestion. Might it be a plotter problem? (using a HP 650c) I did a print to my HP712c and every thing was in the where I placed it.

It is strange to me that the traced lines are where they should be and the PDF scan file is rotated.

This is definitely HP problem; I have seen it on AutoCAD, not ArchiCAD though, with "dedicated" AutoCAD drivers.
