My Text is jumbling around

Arrghhh please someone help me.

I'm running ArchiCAD 7 International on both XP and Vista machines. Archicad works fine on both however when I write some text it jumbles around. Example:

I want to write : roof @ 25°30' pitch and when I click out the text box it jumbles around to be: roof pitch '30 25° @ ... its really annoying.

I've tried playing around with the keyboard settings for windows but it only happens in Archicad ... not in other installed programs. Any ideas?

Check your "Regional & language options" settings in Control Panel.
There is something in there about installing files for complex script & right-to-left languages that you need to turn off.

Thankyou for your reply. I was unable to find this setting you mentioned. Could I impose on you to be a bit more specfic for me?
