AC 10 Mactel wants to start by itself after booting up

Just got a new MBP 17 inch.

Installed Mactel version of AC10 and for some odd reason the computer will start the application all by itself after Ive booted up to the OSX 10.4.8 desktop.

I got it.

On the taskbar the AC10 icon was checked " Open at Login"
WRONG

All is well.
My first Mac computer....so a bit of learning my way around the block is at hand.

Think of the irony.

On PC machines, applications mysteriously stop working.
On Mac, applications mysteriously start up.

Go figure.

You could come back one morning and your work would be done.
