I am thinking of buying the M51SN-AP018C with these specifications:

2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo-processor T9300
Windows Vista Home Premium
4 GB RAM of which 1 GB Turbo Memory
5400rpm hard disck with 250 GB
15,4 inch screen with 1280 x 800-resolutie
Nvidia Geforce 9500-videocard
webcam
802.11a/b/g/n-WLAN
Bluetooth
DVD Super Multi double layer-drive

Can anyone tell me if this is usefull for working with archicad11? Or maybe give me a good alternative for approximtely 1.200-1.400 Euro?

Sounds like this rig will do more than just run AC 11.
The specs are near top of the line.
What about an external DVI port? That 15" screen does tend to be a bit on the small side IMHO

Everything look good, but I would want a faster hard drive but then they it won't be as big.

Once upon a time, I got the faster hard drive on a laptop and it consumed the battery real fast.
