Grant,
When I installed the build 2256 ArchiCAD Library 81.pla I extracted it
and noticed that the RoofMaker library parts were floating around in the object library not in a sub-folder.
This condition makes them non-accessible by the object tool.

I did the following and it seems to work.
In my hard drive directory I created a folder called RoofMaker Library 81
and put it inside the ArchiCAD Library 81.lib folder, I gathered up
all of the RoofMaker library parts and put them into this folder.
I have not seen the update but I believe this is what GS has done.
The Roofmaker parts are now accessible by the object tool
and Roofmaker still works.
HTH,

On the tr.graphisoftus.com website, there is a 75 mb update posted on 4/15 to upgrade the Archicad 8.1 library to include the Roofmaker subfolder.

I downloaded the 75 mb file and when I went to install/upgrade, it failed stating a CRC corrupted file.

Does anyone have experience with this.

Thanks, Grant

CRC corruptions often occur when one downloads files from the internet. I tried to download the file in question myself and it worked for me, so what you experienced should have been an occasional error of the download process. I think that you should try download the file once again.
