Unfortunately the slipstream disc images dont include a working driver for the ATI Radeon Mobility x1600 card, so your stuck at the native resolution of 1440x900 with no hardware acceleration. This leaves for a slower 3D window. Currently drivers are being worked on to support the x1600 in the MacBook Pro.
