I am curious as to why Graphisoft doesn't notify licensed seat holders of updates via email as oppose to letting us fine out through this forum or by randomly checking for updates?

something to do with the complex nature of their global distributor/reseller system. i think it's down to the reseller to do the honours in that case . . .

but: more and more software are building in automatic 'check for updates' at startup. that would be a far better system than sending people e-mails, no?
Check for updates is in your Help pulldown menu. Just click it occasionally ... and yes, it should be your reseller who sends out a circular. I used to do that once upon a time ...
