<T>Hi, i know that this may have been asked countless times before, but I am currently looking to buy a Macbook to run Archicad 10 and software such as photoshop etc. I am still a bit concerned about the Graphics card. I intend to put 2GB of ram in it.
Any advice?</T>

I've got a MacBook/1.83Ghz since end of may 2006, with 1GB ram, but I hadn't any problem until now. I used it mostly this summer, also with Archicad 9 and 10 for PPC and it was not a rocket, but it worked far better that I was thinking before I really tried (better that G4 iBook with 640Mb). But I must say I didn't big or much complex projects.
With Archicad 10 for MacIntel, the only issue over my G5 is the OpenGL window.

Hello!

(sorry about my english)

I just were testing archicad 10 on MB and MBP at the same time.
It seems that the only difference is the openGL window.
I had quite big file (with many complex tree-objects). I noticed that the "frame-rate" is just little better on MBP (just like the difference of prosessor speeds in those models). While moving in 3d MBP showed 2 times more stuff than PB for the same frame rate. My PC shows a bit more than MBP. (PC with 256M graphic ship)

2D view (frame-rate) was allmost the same in both models.
I think that using extra monitor (20") was faster with MBP.

MB: Intel core duo / 500M
MBP:intel core 2 duo / 1G / 128M Graphic ship

I think (hope) that 2G MBP will do it better.

Does anyone have experience about MB + archicad 10???
Have anyone used MB + bootcamp + AC10 ??

Please let me know your experiences !!!. It seems that nobody from graphisoft does not know a thing about using MB ?!?

Hi there,
there are many questions about Mac and Pc for ArchiCad and renderings, any verdict so far? Is the latest Mac G5 Version running better than Pc version? i have a constant debate with my boss about it.

I have been contemplating and encouraged to change from Pc to Mac version for 3D interior projects and i do alots of realistic renderings, what kind of configuration can i get (if money is not an issue)? especially the latest graphic card in 2007?

Can Mac Arhicad V10 read my past (created in PC) projects and past 3D library and open GL window?
