<T>I would like to put AC9 on a laptop that uses an Intel Centrino Mobile Technology with Intel Pentium M processor (1.70 GHz) along with 1GB of RAM and a 128MB ATI Mobility Radeon X300 PCI Express x16 Graphics card (basically a Dell 9300 Inspiron Notebook). Has anyone had good or bad experiences with using the Centrino processors with AC9.</T>

We have found that the Centrino processors work very well with ArchiCAD 9.
Our Laptops : 2ghz Centrinos with 128meg Radeon's and 1 gig of ram - Dell 8600's
Old Desktops : 3.2 ghz pentium 4 (the gaming processor with the large cache) with 256meg Nvidia and 2 gig of ram
The Centrino's actually beat the PIV convincingly in all tests !!
We all now use centrino's with docking stations

Dell's 9300 is a good choice IMHO. Big screen and powerful!
I agree... I'm typing this response on my 9300, super bright screen, 2GHz processor, 2 GB RAM, 256 MB nVidia, 7200 RPM drive... runs cool and quiet.

More processor power is always nice - looking forward to dual core Pentium M / Centrino down the road - but this runs AC9 beautifully. The 1920 x 1200 pixel 17" screen has plenty of room for all palettes and working.
