      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;Hi,i use ArchiCAD10 it works great,but when i change the view mode to 3D not working good,slow down &lt;BR /&gt;
i dont understand maybe my computer is enough good?or what is the problem?&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>3D views take time to generate.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
There are two 3D methods depending on the result you need:&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Internal engine - slower than OpenGL:&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
slowest with analytical shadows enabled.&lt;BR /&gt;
best for hidden line views&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
OpenGL - faster than Internal: &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
but slows down if you ask for fancy options like textures.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
speeds up with a smaller rendering radius -  see "options" in 3D View dialog box&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Try reducing options to speed up the render.</description>

      <description>It probably is the computer. The Celeron is a crippled version of the Pentium and you are also a light on RAM.</description>

      <description>Switching from 1 GB to 4 GB made a lot of difference for me for speed of opening &amp;amp; editing the very same model. &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
At 1 GB, most memory is absorbed by operating system &amp;amp; any other apps running, So ArchiCAD needs to keep writing &amp;amp; reading from hard drive instead ( "page faulting") -  which is obviously many times slower.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Hate to think how bad it would be on 512mb!</description>
