<R>I want to say just my experiance, without PR of ceartain product:

To have the nummber pad on left, and mouse on right is the most best condition for CAD-Working.
To satisfy this function, keyboard and nummberpad must be separated.

I have personally very satisfied with the following keyboard.
It is expensive, but I can use this one over 10 years.
First of all great for Archi CAD work!

I hope, I helped somebody.</R>

We are using standard keyboards in our office, but hardly touch them. Our set consists of a large trackball for the right hand(logitech optical trackman) & the ever revered nostromo programable keypad for the left hand. wouldn't know how to draw without it & only about $25-$30. Using keyboard for typing notes only. Got tired of all the ctl-atl 3 finger keyboard dancing that archicad seems to love & programed it all to single keys on the nostromo
