WIBU - KEY - Serial Number

Hai there,

This question may sound silly. But any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
Can I find the WIBU - KEY - Serial Number which I used to save a file? I just had the saved files with me.

Windows:

Control Panel/WIBU Key

The serial is highlihted.

Thanks for the reply, but right know i don't have the lock with me which i used to save the files. I just had the Archicad files with me.

Can i still find the lock serial number?

Not if it is not plugged in the machine. The files are lock independent.

What MIGHT look for a certain WIBU key are the APIs (for example Cigraph product line) that is registered to a WIBU key.

Hai Djordje,

any how i don't have any add-ons on my system. One way of finding the wibu-key serial is through the log file of Archicad which it registers when archicad stops responding or when it crashes.

The filename will be "ArchiCAD.RPT" and it will be in your C:\Documents and Settings\username\Graphisoft folder (on PC).

Here in this file you can view the wibu key details and you can trace the wibu-key serial number.

I know this and wanted to share this information with you. That's it.
