can't save layout book in plotmaker 9

using AC10 & PM9. recently i have a PM file that everytime i try to save the modified file (or to a new file name) i get error message "Error while writing file: layout book name.lbk"
file size is about 50MB.

any way to fix this without creating a new layout book from scratch?

The easy way to recreate a layout book (if need be) is to "Import" it from another LBK (File > Import)

Import to a new file from the bad layout file seemed to work.
