Yes this happens from time to time.
The only way to get it back is to restart.
One of the many I have to do every day.

<T>In AC11 the rubberband line which helps drawing and moving things suddenly decides to disappear! Without it is practically impossible to work. The only way to bring it back is to restart AC.

This happened to me about ten times today. I am seriously considering to go back to AC10 to finish the project.

Has someone else had this problem?

I am sure the fault is in AC, because I had the same problem with AC10 when it was released, and it disappeared when I installed the newest patches for it. I even found a key combination turned the rubberband back on, but I have already forgotten it.</T>

kliment,

it has happened to me several times with AC10, however I am 120% positive that your graphic card is messing around with drivers. I have noticed once when I ran automatic Win update that it has overridden original GF drivers. Not sure if it is a poor form of the driver programmer or Win or both.
