Dell Dimension 9200 with 2Gb RAM
ArchiCad 11 build 1200 and latest library

Coworker installed latest Quicktime update and after restart couldn't get Archicad to load at all. Not even two seconds and the bug reporter popped up each time. Now on 7th step of the Crash Troubleshooting guide to report it here.

Removing Quicktime and reinstalling the version supplied with the ArchiCad 11 installer has resolved the issue. ArchiCad starts properly.

If anything else don't install the latest Quicktime (v 7.4.5) until there's an update from Graphisoft that addresses the issue.</T>

We do not experience any problem with QuickTime 7.4.5, so this could have been a temporary glitch. Nevertheless, it's a good idea to stick with the QuickTime that was shipped with ArchiCAD, as that was thoroughly tested with ArchiCAD.

I know it's hard <S></S>not <E></E>to update these days, especially if you use iTunes. Thanks for the report anyway.
