topic Old Designjet plotter and Macbook Pro...success in Installation & update

<T>Not to get into a MS vs Mac thread but I have to say I'm amazed at this little MBP.
I have an old HP Designjet HP 700C ( yeah it came over on the Mayflower ,so what)....that works great and has been workhorse.
So knowing that good 'ol HP will not and never will make drivers for so called "discontinued" devices for Vista OS, I thought what the hay let's try it on the MacBook Pro.
Sure enough after plugging the usb cable in it detected the plotter....I then set up new print device......navigated to a HP Designjet 700C "gimp" print driver and voila'!......prints like a champ.

No scouring the internet looking and cussing for some hidden away driver on some obscure website.
Learn something new everyday, I guess.</T>
