ArtLantis 4.5 on multi user ( classroom) mashines.

Hi.

We are using Archicad 9 and ArtLantis 4.5 for a class with 15 students.
We are deploying the programs as a part of a Ghost image, meaning all machines are identical.
Can run both ArchiCad and ArtLantis as local administrator ( the same account as used to create the original master machine > ghost -image.

Two problems
-we have to set the wibu-key for every student as they are logging in the first time. Solved this by running a reg.file by starting the program, described in a previous tread.

- For ArtLantis 4.5, we have to type the serial number with the CD-in the reader for every machine and user of that machine.

Any work around for this???

PS. anyone that made msi packages of ArchiCad?

Have you contacted Abvent technical support or posted your question to the Artlantis (Abvent) forums?

I have a feeling you'll have to do the serial number for each machine, but am surprised you have to do it for each user. Artlantis 4.5 also has a copy protection feature that randomly (and not very often) asks that the original installation CD be inserted.
