Is anything selected in the plan view?
Do you have a marquee active?
Are all the relevant layers on?
My windows and doors have disappeared in plan & elevation
All layers on
If I seclect where they should be I get a dialogue of the particular door or window previously installed
SPOOKY
Again no answers, but we are having problems in v9 where all windows and doors within one or a few walls display correctly in plan but in elevation the wall holes are not cut, so you simply see the rectangle of the opening. Once a wall becomes 'afflicted' there is nothing that will change it - we have tried relaunching AC.

Since the same windows in a different wall are unaffected, it seems the particular wall is somehow corrupted such that wall cutting doesn't work correctly. An image is attached showing a first floor 'afflicted' wall and ground floor (with same library parts) showing correctly.

Does anyone else have experience of this? Any ideas?

If not what is the name of the door/window?

Thank you for the responses.

I am embarrassed to say the solution to this most recent problem is very simple - that the wall underneath was increased in height (whether by user error or other reason I don't know), so there were indeed two overlapping walls.

This was the second of two problems that I was confusing in my haste to get a solution. The first problem was on a different machine with a different user, where windows and doors appeared correctly in plan but as empty openings [ie you could see through them] in elevation and 3D. This was specific to a couple of walls, but others were unaffected. My guess is that it was to do with the video card - the computer in question is a few years old with an under-powered card, but generally does a good job of running AC, PM etc. We will have to wait for a recurrence before taking this any further.
