Have you tried installing the driver from the CD you received with your HP 4500ps plotter? If so,  after you install the driver you should import it into plotmaker.&lt;BR /&gt;

I did not know it was possible to import a driver into plotmaker... the driver has been installed on the computer, do you mind letting me know how i would go about importing it into plotmaker?&lt;BR /&gt;

It is true that when you install your driver it will show up on your printer list in PlotMaker but usually when you print from plotmaker you loose a lot of quality and fill types/composites come through incorrect.  That is why it is better to plot then to print.  &lt;BR /&gt;
My suggestion after reviewing my own PlotMaker would be to create PLTs (plot maker files that can be created in plotmaker) and plot them through "Plotflow".&lt;BR /&gt;
