topic vista/open gl crashes in Installation & update

<T>I just got a new system after my old one decided not to boot anymore. After hours of getting the new one the way I want it, archicad keeps crashing on me if i try to view 3D using openGL. When I open the 3d window, the model take a while to pop up, then it freezes constantly as I try to move it. The pointer will move around, but it won't click on anything. Once I can click again, if I try to close the 3D window, it goes back to a plan window, then crashes out entirely and the graphisoft crash pops up and disappears before i can see anything. If I use the internal engine, it seems to work.

Here's what i have:
vista ultimate/sp1
intel core 2 quad processor
3gb ram
geoforce 8500gt video card running two monitors
geoforce 6200 video card running one monitor

I had a lot of trouble getting the monitors to work properly and they have caused problems a couple of times when booting. It seems like the problem is with them, but I have the latest drivers.

Anyone have similiar problems? And any solutions?

thanks!</T>

I thought it might be helpful for me to know if anyone is successfully viewing 3d with opengl on a vista system that has two video cards/three monitors. At least I would know it's possible.

Anyone? And if so, what sort of video cards do you have?
