    <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;I have checked the graphic card database and haven't been able to find the available cards listed for a new Dell precision 670. Does anyone have experience with these for AC/lightworks renderings as my main use. I'll be running (2) 19" lcd, xeon 3 ghz, 1gb ddr2 sdram.&lt;BR /&gt;

64MB  nVidia Quadro NVS 280, Dual DVI or Dual VGA  &lt;BR /&gt;
128MB ATI FireGL V3100, Dual VGA or DVI + VGA &lt;B&gt;(most apt to order) &lt;/B&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
128MB  nVidia Quadro FX 1300, Dual DVI or Dual VGA or DVI + VGA&lt;BR /&gt;
256MB  nVidia Quadro FX 3400, Dual DVI or Dual VGA or DVI + VGA &lt;BR /&gt;

Don't forget that for renderings, the graphics card has (virtually) zero effect. Important variables for renderings are processor speed and RAM.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
As for 'general usage', check for;&lt;BR /&gt;
- FULL Open GL support (not just 'Doom' compatability)&lt;BR /&gt;
- Ram size (64 is on the low side)&lt;BR /&gt;
- AC compatability. AFAIR, there used to be some issues with Archicad and some ATI cards, however recently it seems that nVid cards are sometimes having issues.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Would your hardware reseller not let you test the card before confirming the purchase?&lt;BR /&gt;
