<T>My Amyuni PDF printer has stopped functioning. I select the driver in print set up. It prompts me for file name and destination. When I push print it acts like it is creating the file but when I go to the destination location it is just not there, nor can I find it with a search so I have to assume it is not getting created. This is extremely annoying and it is a great handicap in my business correspondence. I have tried to reinstall the printer and the entire program but nothing is working. Amyuni tech support won't help with products distributed with Archicad. Can anyone help me or direct me to someone who can? I am running WindowsXP.</T>

Hi Michael,
What version of ArchiCAD are you using? Are you using publisher?

Cheers.
I am using 8.1. No I am not using publisher. I am just trying to get a PDF document. It worked at one time. I am not sure when it quit working, but when I tried to use it recently it didn't work as I described.

Isn't the path drive write protected?
How is the printer set up: file printer or normal (LPT 1/2/3 port)? It should be installed as a normal printer on any LPT port.

Try to do the following:

Start/Settings/Printers right click on Amyuni pdf printer, select print setting, check the box for "preview pdf file" search for the Adobe Reader program file (eg acrord32.exe), then press OK:
If printing is successful, your reader should open the file. Then you can select Save a copy...
Michael, may I suggest you use Publisher in Plotmaker. Extremely easy to use and creates PDF files very efficiently and accurately.
