OK How do I get the grid (plan) to show up in other floors
WHat's the trick I have selected ALL Floors in the Floor plan dialog screen
and
How do I change the grid line to dot dash leaving the circle line around the grid reference as a solid line

What version of AC are you working with?

This is buggy -- I suggest searching this forum. In the past, I've resorted to creating the grid in a New file, adjusting the "Show on Story" parameter and merging this grid into my Project file in order to get the setting to stick.

Within the Grid Element dialog.
