I'm relatively new to ArchiCAD but I've been using AC10 up until this past week and have not run across this problem. After upgrading to 11 I can't select anything without hovering over it, clicking it, then hovering over it again and tabbing through all other items in the section that are in close proximity to the element i'm trying to select. Otherwise it selects the other elements when I click the node of the selected element that I want. It seems it always selects the elements I do NOT want rather than the ones I do. This occurs most when I select slabs and they abut walls. It automatically selects the walls instead. This is killing my work flow. Please, any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi, atlantex

Try activating the tool of the item you want to select before making the selection (eg. slab tool). It should then be the first item considered for selection.

Not 'as usual' at all, Stuart... just trying to clarify to newbies. <E>😉</E>

Cheers,
