Find every possible source of training and documentation on the program and learn them. Then practice and you will make it.

Actually when i mentioned the parameters earlier, i purposely highlight documentation, data sharing, modelling, library/gdl and scheduling, leaving out animation (which might complicate things most especially when issue of bill of quantities and costing needs to be automated along with the model) for those who have the preference to give more attention to.
And Add ons which bring added need to keep updating in the future. e.t.c.

If at all possible, watch someone use ArchiCAD.

You can learn more from seeing and expert user work for 10 min. than you can in a month trying to figure it out from a manual.

Don't get me wrong, Laszlo couldn't be more correct, am hoping to streamline the input to a scenero of a project stages---- from design thru construction (managing alteration on site e.t.c) to completing stage using archicad as the only tool. most especially if one has to consider the fact that there a lot of other professional that are not architect that are also using it, consequently they may have preference along some other aspect of the softwear, may be they wish could be improve, removed e.t.c.
