<T>Hi, I run Archicad 12 and AuotoCAD 2010. I am following the steps outlined in TechNotes "How to Superimpose a 2D Floor Plan onto a 3D Model" and I can pull an Ordnance Survey plan into the model as described but it is not coming in to scale and it is also distorted, in the 'y' axis I think. Can anyone help, I've been ont his for days now. Many thanks Lob</T>

Hi Lob,

I guess you mean this article in the Wiki - <S></S><LINK_TEXT text="http://www.archicadwiki.com/TechNotes/H ... D%20Model?">http://www.archicadwiki.com/TechNotes/How%20to%20Superimpose%20a%202D%20Floor%20Plan%20onto%20a%203D%20Model?</LINK_TEXT><E></E>

Your problem could be caused by incorrect Drawing Units settings in the DWG translator. It may be set to millimeters or inches, instead of metres.

If you open the OS map in ArchiCAD using 'File'>'Open', with the correct units in the translator, is it to the correct proportion and size?

If you still have problems, maybe attach the files to your next post and someone can check them out for you (save them in a zip first).

Hope that helps!
