Does anyone know how to make glass transparent when you are working in ArchiCad? At the moment it looks like in the picture above and i would really like to know how to make them more transparent to make my work easier.</R>

right click in 3d view.

click on 3d window settings
(can also be found under the view drop down menu -> 3d mode -> 3d window settings)

then under effects theres a drop down "on-off" for transparency in shading

Mac, If you haven't done this yet.
You can also define your own level of transparency by making a copy of
a glass material in: Options>Element Attributes>Materials, and set your own level of transparency, and by the way, a color tint you like for your glass while your at it.
And you should set up your "profile" while your at it. It's a nice touch, and usually means you will get faster response to complicated questions.
