Hi Peter, I assume that it has been taken care of in v11 since I am not having anymore problems...... So far, time will tell, but so far so good.

Thanks Peter
What happens when you insert the same window or door
with exactly the same settings into a regular wall ?
The settings have to be exactly the same for the test to be valid.
Thanks Peter for the reply. I have done a lot of searching on past topics and came up with nothing that helps, but here is what I did wrong. IF YOUR IN AC11, USE AC11 LIBRARY INSTEAD V10 LIBRARY!
What a dumb a I am. I recently installed AC11 and started a new job from my V10 template and did not realize that the V10 Library was loaded. And now after reading the topics on Complex Profiled walls and the problems with the scripting in the past libraries it made me check to see if I was using V11 library in this job, which I had assumed they would have fixed the Problems with doors and windows in complex profiles.

So everything is fine now, I just need to open my eyes.
Hello Jim,
Thanks for posting back.
I was suspecting that it was not a problem with the complex profiled wall
but with the wa_trim us macro that has been causing so many problems
since it's first incarnation in AC 8. I did not realize there were issues
with the 2D scripts of doors and windows inserted in complex profiled walls.
I knew there were problems with 3D. You say GS has fixed these issues
in AC 11 ? That is good news.
Thanks for the info,
