WOW that is great i am really surprised , i hope to see from graphisoft more and more development like pattern shape on shell surface to spend time less.
can we spread the shape of pyramid on the shell like this ??!!

I don't think it would not be worth the effort to make this in ArchiCAD.

Google "Fun with Revit" or "Mesh Cladding with 3dmax"

But never mind to know how it can be done in archicad and then compare what is the best programme you can depend on.
Man Do you want from me to go to revit, i am still see features in archicad it is not quite available in revit, and archicad is developing why not after shell tool let us give it try. !
or perhaps let Graphisoft see what technology is reached and give it a message that we want to move into next stage in archicad 16 without any limitations.
man if i will work in United Arab emirate with that level of archicad(that is not detailed) is not accepted and i am not like to move to revit because as i mentioned i used to work on archicad and i like it and see some feature is not on revit from my experience for both.

I could model that in ArchiCAD. I could also build a house with just my hatchet and a string. It's just not very productive.

In this case, the forms have not been refined into manufacturalble and constructible parts yet. It's still quite free-form. From my perspective, there is no such thing as a free-form building, unless its a mud hut or something which does not need plans anyway.

I think ArchiCAD is for doing just the opposite of free-form. ArchiCAD is for producing the documentation/plans necessary to transforming this sort of free-form shape into something buildable that can be constructed with precision. I could do that with ArchiCAD. I could produce a good set of working drawings to be used for constructing a building of that specific shape. If you want to pay me for my time I will do it....with ArchiCAD.

I' looking for the way to model something like that. I had to model a number of "Pipes" run in many directions. Finally i did it with Cadimage tool, but is there any way to create a real space framing around the pipes rather than use texture materials?

any advice is appreciated !

Yes, this time I make two custom panel for curtain wall, and then one curtain wall, in esquema you can choose the pattern... That's all.
