topic Resizing a Wall in Modeling

<T>If I resize a wall with doors/windows in it, the doors/windows don't appear resized. However, when I select a door/window in the resized wall I notice the hotspots reflect an enlarged door/window.

While resizing the door/window is probably not desirable (6' doors, anyone?), I find the door/window width in its tool settings to be resized even when graphically it isn't in plan.

At the same time, the process of opening then closing the respective tool settings causes the door/window to resize to match the wall.

I notice this problem when resizing markers and a few objects...i.e. - no initial resize, but open/close the tool settings and they resize automatically.

Is this a bug, or am I missing something?</T>

Have only use the resize command once in 11 years... so had to check this one out. You're right: bug. Rebuilding will not get the window to show properly in plan or 3D - hotspots show in correct places. Amazing that you figured out the workaround of opening the object settings and OK'ing out to get the representation correct.
Actually I'm using resize quite often, it's easier to maintain aspect ratio.

As I discovered, the bug applies to 2D and not just door/window objects.
archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=37932
Or maybe its a GDL programming error.
You have to OK it, Cancel doesn't update the model/drawing.
