<T>I am not always able to explode roofs for example. And when I can, I would prefer that it is converted to lines rather than polylines.

Is there a way to explode things so they become lines rather than polylines ?

I tried to explode a group of roofs but only some of the roofs will explode. Why is that?</T>

I can live with the extra work it takes to deal with things exploded into poly lines rather than lines.

What are some reasons why roofs might not explode? Not on the same story?

I selected a group of roofs I wanted to explode to get lines I can use for something in my roof plan. But only some of the roofs will explode. ??

Is your grouping suspended?
Are they single plane or multi-plane roofs?
Exploded below. Roofs not exploded are selected below. ?
Seems it is a storey thing.
It will only explode the roofs on your current storey.
Going up a storey and explode the others works fine.
That is not an entirely bad thing. But it is helpful to know that we can only explode things on one story at a time.

I would prefer that we could explode what we can see we have selected, and that it would explode into lines not polylines for the sake of clean up.

It would also be good if it did not generate double lines for gable ends.
