solid operation doesn't work

hello

haven't used archicad for about 2 months, and now the simples task for some strange reason doesn't work i try to solid operate a slab from a slab in a up wards extrusion and it just wont work, em i forgetting something to make it work???

Are you deleting the operator (slab) by any chance??
If so once the SEO is done, change the operator to a layer that is off.

Its the major issue the users here have when using SEO.

nope i tryed again and worked but now i am trying to do another solid operation with a wall and beam and it doesn't work dont understand

Watch the priorities (strengths) of your walls and beams as they will automatically cut each other.

For example if your wall is stronger than the beam then it will automatically cut the beam.
Therefore if you try to do a SEO of the beam (operator) from the wall (target) there is nothing to actually SEO with (for a subtraction).

So in this case make sure the beam has a stronger priority than the wall.
