This has been a problem with the internal elevation tool ever since it was introduced.&lt;BR /&gt;

That's why I have never bothered using it.&lt;BR /&gt;
Another feature that is great 80% of the time and trouble for the other 20%.&lt;BR /&gt;
Probably more 95% - 5% in reality but it is the times that it doesn't do what you want that make it not worth using.&lt;BR /&gt;
I just stick to the standard section tool.&lt;BR /&gt;

I might have another look at it again now in 14 just out of curiosity.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>If you select such a problematic Interior Elevation line and go to its settings Dialog, in the &lt;FONT color="#FF0000"&gt;Horizontal Range&lt;/FONT&gt; field, do you have it set to &lt;FONT color="#FF0000"&gt;By Limit Lines&lt;/FONT&gt; or &lt;FONT color="#FF0009"&gt;Add bounded area&lt;/FONT&gt;?&lt;BR /&gt;
It should be set to the former.</description>

Normally I would do the same, but in this particular instance, keeping the project map structured and organised outweighs the disadvantage of this shortcoming.&lt;BR /&gt;
