If yes, within the settings there is a checkbox at the bottom - "Ignore zoom and rotation when opening this view" - make sure this is UNchecked. So every time I open a section I have to zoom extents. It been annoying me for about a year now. The little + sign indicating the origin is right at my section as well. I looked at the settings and the box was Unchecked. I checked it for the fun of it and now it zooms right to the drawing. Thank You!!
