Wall composite colours

<T>Hi All,

I'm setting up a new template from scratch in AC11 and I'm at the stage of creating wall composites. All the different wall types are set-up to enable a scheduling takeoff however the colours of the walls are not exactly pleasing to the eye.

Rather than spending hours hitting and missing with colour choices I was wondering if some people might show their composite colours and maybe background colours as well so I can set-up a scheme that is easy to work with.

You help is greatly appreciated.</T>

Maybe I am missing what you are trying to do but...
I wouldnt be too worried about the wall colours. Most time you will want them to print to black or grey anyway and that can be achieved by selecting/creating a penset in the layout.

Hi John,

Yes I've sorted out the printing templates and pen thicknesses, but we have a team of 20 drafties and 8 designer's working on this template 8 hours a day, I want to make sure the screen background and colours are easy on the eyes.

The IT guys setup the inital template with really harsh colours, hence the reason I'm changing it.

Anyhow I've sorted it out now.
