Thank you, I see.
If I may ask another question related to this topic,

I learned that I can only export one dxf per story at a time.
But if I want to save 1st story with 2nd story trace reference as dxf, is that possible? In other words, is it possible to include the trace reference lines on a dxf file?

thank you

<T>Hello,

Im trying to display multiple stories as trace reference and export that as dxf into illustrator,
I cant seem to figure out how to show multiple stories as tracing ref
When im on the first story, i click second story as trace ref, then click third story as trace ref, but then, the second story trace ref disappears

How do i make it so that both the second and third story shows up as trace reference?

Thank you in advance</T>

Trace & reference can only show one thing at a time as you have discovered.

However if you add the second and third storey views to a layout page (overlaying them one on top of the other) then you can show that layout page as you trace reference and that might do what you are after.
I know when you publish a PDF you can choose to print the trace reference as well.
But I don't think you can do this when publishing or printing as a DXF.
Someone else might want to step in here as it is not something I have ever tried.

The only way I can think of doing it would be to stack plans in the layout as I mentioned before and then publishing/printing that as a DXF.
But I doubt if you will have individual storeys/layers for each floor in the DXF if that is what you are after.
Again maybe others will have a solution for you and will chime in here.
