No, smaller 3d view window doesn't solve it but I was really surprised to find that restarting Windows fixed it this time... even without the need to install different drivers. I guess it's just some kind of bug and I have to live with it.

<R>I have a serious problem here, please help! When I switch to 3D view (either axonometric or perspective) and start moving around the window flashes as soon as I stop moving and some kind of white bands and remainigs of previous camera positions appear.... well it's simply a mess! My graphics card is "Quadro FX 560" with the latest drivers installed. I've found that every time I change the drivers the problem dissapears for a week ot two but after that - flickering again.

Here are some shots:
While this could be real problem, using ANY graphics card to attempt a full-screen 3D OpenGL view is a challenge.

Do you get the same problems with a smaller view? Fewer OpenGL effects?

This has happened to me too, on and off and there really is no trigger as far as I can tell. Sometimes the problem disappears on its own after a few minutes. Sometimes I have to restart AC especially if I'm in a hurry (no I don't reboot for this).

A workaround is to press F5 again - once the bands and lines have stabilised (after you've stopped scrolling/panning). That should give you a clear axo/perspective.
