Editing wall

New to v16 and wondering why I can't just select and stretch a wall, the way I used to? My walls seem impervious to the stretch command. It's the only tool that won't come up in the floating toolbar and when I try to do it manually from the dropdown menu, that doesn't work either. What setting do I need to adjust? Thanks.

Are you stretching in plan or 3D?

Plan. Which brings up another question of settings. I can't seem to do any editing in 3-D at the moment. Assume it's a totally basic thing I need to adjust.

Can you post a signature with your OS, computer specs, etc. That will help in diagnosing potential problems.

No idea why you can't stretch a wall. Or 3D editing?

Silly question, but are groups suspended when you try to edit?

Another silly question - is the wall layer locked?

Also, the wall components themselves can be locked - select the walls in question, go to Edit>Locking>Unlock or try Unlock all with nothing selected.
