    <description>The creation date is indeed pretty strange to see!  But, I think the over 300 MB size of your file might be more related to the slowness.  Run (download if you need to) the Polycount add-on to check how heavy your model is.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
The creation date thing is a little worrisome... suggesting perhaps some file system corruption.  I'd do a repair disk on the volume holding that file to at least locate/fix the most obvious disk issues.&lt;BR /&gt;

Age of hard disk?</description>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;I have this file that is running VERY slowly and so today I went in and deleted anything extraneous.&lt;BR /&gt;
I happened to look in the finder and see that it is showing a file creation date of 12/31/1969.  This really can't be good.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Does anyone know anything about this?&lt;/T&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;IMG src="http://community.graphisoft.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/71086iF7B60497E8E0A3D5/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" border="0" alt="691231creationdate.jpg" title="691231creationdate.jpg" /&gt;</description>

      <description>Thank you, Karl.  I ran Disk Utility and found no problems on the drive.  I think that this hard drive is original to the computer (2008?).  &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Through the drawing manager I've gotten this file down to 187 MB.  I'm going to look for the Polycount add-on.  Thank you so much for the suggestion.</description>
